Axelle Bernage studied Violin, Art History, historical Dance and Gesture of the Baroque. She began her Vocal Studies at the Grenoble National Conservatory where she discovered the Early Music. In 1999 Mrs. Bernage was admitted in the Lyon National Conservatoy of Music and Dance. She has studied with Arnaud Pumir, Nicolas Stroesser, Marie-Claude Vallin, Dominique Vellard, Gérard Geay and Jean-Yves Haymoz.
She works as a soloist with different Ensembles like La Dolçe Sere, Huelgas Ensemble (Conductor: Paul Van Nevel), Doulce Mémoire (Conductor: Denis Raisin Dadre), les Sacqueboutiers de Toulouse, Faenza, Akademia and Josquin Capella with a repertoire that varies from the Gregorian Chant to the Baroque.
